Linux game – Battle for wesnoth

It’s turn base fantasy strategy game. Defeat your enemy Leader using your troops. Select the Fatal Weapon to kill your enemy.

Installation

From Ubuntu Terminal screen (Applications > Accessories > Terminal), type:

How to play?

• Open Applications > Games > Battle for Wesnoth

• In the main screen you will see Main Menu on the right side and Tactical guide on the left.

• Before you start to play, I suggest you to go to Tutorial Menu. It will teach you the basic skills.

• Below is the Tutorial screen. Just choose the player and start to practice.

• Then you can go to the next level. Play with the real situation.

• You can play it in Multi Player Game or Local Game. If you play in Local Game, you have 2 player, you and your enemy. But, you have to move the enemy also by yourself.

• So, you can play it by alone or with your friend (in the same computer).

• OK, let’s try for sample with Local Game.

• Click ‘Multi-player’,select ‘Local Game’ and click OK.

• Choose the Game Map.

• For practice, choose ‘Cave of the Basilisk’.

• Select your Hero by Click the mouse cursor on it then the Hero will be surrounded by red circle.

• To move your Hero, just click the destination and press Left Mouse button.

• Your Hero then will move to a new place.

• Then click ‘End Turn’ to switch the Turn.

• Now is your Enemy turn. If you don’t have anyone to play with you, you move the enemy by yourself.

• Just to the same way like you do before.

• Click the Enemy, move the cursor to a new destination then click Left Mouse button.

• Repeat that steps until your Hero meet your enemy face to face.

• To start the fight, just click your Hero then move the cursor destination on your enemy area.

• Few weapons will occur automatically.

• Just select a weapon and click OK.

• If you want to see the destructive power of the weapon you can click on ‘Damage Calculation’ button and click OK.

• After you click OK on the ‘Attack Enemy’ screen, then your Hero will start attack your enemy. Don’t forget to click on ‘End Turn’ to switch the Turn.

• Do the same way with your enemy.

• If you can defeat your enemy, you will get the same screen like below.
