There are hundreds or may be thousands game titles for Sony PSP available to be downloaded from the internet. Is it illegal? It’s up to you. I only want to show you that you can do it. Sony PSP only can play with the extension .cso or .iso. You will find also that there are psp games files compressed in rar format. It’s no problem. Just extract it.
My favorite site for Sony PSP games is www.pspiso.com. I think it’s one of the most complete web site for Sony PSP. Now, open your browser and type the website address.
You will find a lots of link where each link consists of a lot of games.
For this sample, I clicked ‘Matt260’s ………………”.

Now, I choose ‘Need for speed: ProStreet‘ to download. The file is compressed is RAR format, game format is in cso and the file size is 291.79MB.
To start downloading process, just click ‘Download‘.

When you click ‘download’, you will be forwarded to a ‘online storage’ web site. It’s can be Megaupload, rapidshare etc. Enter the code: XJV (every time will be different).

If you are not a member then you have to wait for 40 to 60 seconds until the download button is show up.

Then click ‘Free Download” to start the downloading process directly.
If have a Download Manager, do right click on the ‘Free Download‘ button and select ‘Copy Link Location‘.

Open your Download Manager and paste the link. If you don’t have, you can find it here.

The downloading process will start in seconds.
But you only can do one by one. I’ve tried with few games together, it didn’t work. If you want to know how to upload these games to your Sony PSP device, you can find it
here.

I had no idea that these sort of sites existed (call me oblivious). Although, I do believe these sort of sites could be considered illegal. Thanks for the information anyway. C:

Piracy is always an interesting issue. The PSP wouldn’t be as successful as it is without the homebrew community. At the same time, Devboot has really hurt game sales for the system.
I can’t help but this Sony should embrace the community somehow. Maybe releasing a developers kit so people can create more software. Hackers will always find away to mess with the firmware, no point in restricting people with updates.
