Using scanner in Gutsy is much easier compare to Feisty. XSane program is included in the Gutsy package, so you don’t have to download the program. When I used Xsane in Feisty, the program recognized my scanner, but it could not run the scanner.

My scanner is CanoScan LiDE 20 (from Canon). The CD package is only available for Win* and Macintosh. When I use with Xsane in Ubuntu Gutsy, it is recognized as CanoScan 1240U/flatbed scanner.

Before I start, I assume that:

  • You use Ubuntu Gutsy

  • Xsane has installed already.

Do you wanna feel how to be a drug dealer? Try this game.

It’s a simulation game. You will not see any shoots, killing, violence etc. Just messages….

For example:

Jetting to Manhattan

The market is flooded with cheap home-made acid!

Jetting to Queens

Rival drug dealers raided a pharmacy and are selling cheap ludes!
